The Ministry of Immigration responds to inquiries of Egyptians abroad about the “House of the Nation” project

Ambassador Saha Gundi: Meeting the needs of Egyptians abroad is our mission and coordinating with various institutions is at the forefront of our interests

Ambassador Saha Gundi: We are keen to provide more incentives to Egyptians abroad.

Ambassador Saha Gundi, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, stressed that she is keen to meet the needs of Egyptians abroad, at the top of the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Immigration, which puts into account the coordination with various ministries and institutions of the Egyptian State to meet these needs and respond to Egyptians abroad inquiries, implementing the political leadership guidelines, adding that Egyptians Abroad is a major focus of sustainable development pillars.

Ambassador Saha Gundi added that there is an ongoing round-the-clock follow-up to respond to questions and queries from Egyptian citizens abroad, and to respond to their ideas and suggestions, indicating that the ministry has received a number of replies to a range of important inquiries whether those received during its foreign tour or through the “An Hour With” initiative The Minister” or inquiries received through various social media platforms.

In the same context, Ambassador Saha Jundi explained,
The Ministry of Housing received a response about the inquiries and complaints of citizens living abroad about the “Beit Al-Watan” project, as part of the state’s efforts to encourage foreign investments and provide more incentives to Egyptians abroad.

The response of the Ministry of Housing ensures that the Council of Ministers at its session No. 214 dated 2022/10/20 was already approved to present the project of the House of Al-Watan for the detainees permanently and continuously. A set of conditions for the eighth proposal of the project, the eighth supplementary proposal and the ninth proposal have been published on the website of the project, and some measures and regulations have been taken that have also been published On the project web site.

The Ministry of Housing also mentioned in its response several incentives, among them:
– Not calculating interest on the first installment due within one month from the date of receipt of the land (for lands).
– The first installment in the chair is eligible to be one year from the specified and advertised date of receipt, not one year from the allocation on the website, and in the case of not receiving within the deadline for receipt, necessary actions shall be taken in accordance with the authority’s real estate regulations (for residential units).
– To allow the increase of amounts converted and registered on the site, in order to reserve the pieces available on the site, by opening the door for receiving orders as of 2022/12/12.
– Allow to take advantage of the excess amounts of confirmed reservations during the ninth phase only and complete the payment given to reserve the pieces available on the site.
– Accepting transfers received after closing the reservation door on 25/9/25, in order to make a reservation from the pieces available on the site.

The Ministry of Housing confirmed in its response that the project is being presented on-going and permanent, and currently preparing to propose residential units in cities: “New Cairo, October 6th, Sheikh Zayed” and the citizens can apply according to the conditions being prepared for the next proposal, which will be announced, respectively.

In the same context, Ambassador Saha Gundi affirmed that the Ministry is a representative of every Egyptian abroad, and puts all his inquiries and questions of interest, as a top priority within the Ministry’s strategy for sustainable and active communication with our citizens abroad, pointing out that her majesty is careful to send all Egyptians abroad inquiries that she receives, whether on her foreign tours or from During her meeting with the Egyptian communities via “videoconference” within the “An Hour with the Minister” initiative, to the concerned and responsible parties to respond to them adequately, based on the role of the ministry and its responsibilities assigned to serve the countrymen abroad.
