We’re hiring the following positions for construction company SAMMAN Constructions
“located in EGYPT”
( working location: Dokki, Egypt)
“Q.S Mechanical Engineer”
Job Description:
o Preparation and updates of material status and purchase requests.
o Coordination with Project Management and other departments to carryout day to day Quantity Surveying services.
o Material take offs prior to the purchase requisitions for the projects and reports any irregularities to the control management.
o Evaluate both purchase requests and quotations and ensure quantities and specifications are in line with tender and project specifications.
o Items analysis and breakdown through project phases.
o Preparation of sub-contracts to be in line with project BOQ, specifications and drawings.
o Examine, control and evaluate sub-contractors invoices and ensure the contractual obligations are satisfied.
o Works very close with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
o Track changes to the design and project work and issue change requests and variation orders accordingly.
Job Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical #Engineering.
o 5+ years of experience in both site engineer and mechanical QS (HVAC- plumbing – firefighting)
