Work Location:
Nasr City.

Key Tasks & Job Responsibilities
1- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring alignment with R&D project timelines and specifications.
2- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery.
3- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
4- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to R&D needs.
5- Develop and manage purchasing budgets.
6- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the specific requirements of R&D projects.
7- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve optimal value and quality.
8- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
9- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
10- Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
11- Arrange with logistics division for Free Zone and airport entry procedures.
12- Check the supply chain documents before sending (shipping documents, invoices, swift)
13- Follow up the inspection with the concerned team.
14- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, costs, and performance.
15- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
16- Attend the required meetings with Finance, Management, Suppliers)
17- Monitor purchase orders with the supplier and Financial Department to satisfy the delivery time and payment.
18- Close the purchase order cycle with all supply chain stakeholders (Finance, Operations and Supplier)
19- Manage and supervise the daily activities of the purchasing team.
20- Provide guidance and support to purchasing staff, including training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

1-Bachelor’s degree in engineering
2-Min 5-7 years of experience
3-Proven experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or in a similar role.
4-Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier management.
5-Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6-Proficient in using procurement software ERP system “Microsoft Dynamics AX is plus “and Microsoft Office Suite.
7-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8- Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
9-Certification in procurement (e.g., CPP, CPIM) is a plus.
