You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our entire organization, ensuring the successful integration of our fire protection solutions across all departments and customer projects. With a deep focus on fire pump technology, you’ll be the go-to technical resource, providing comprehensive support from pre-sales engineering to project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pre-Sales #Engineering and Lead Qualification:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and inquiries related to fire protection systems, particularly those centered on fire pumps.
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of fire protection codes (NFPA standards), fire suppression systems, and hydraulic calculations to evaluate project feasibility and qualify leads for the sales team.
Conduct site visits (as needed) to assess client requirements, gather technical data, and understand specific fire pump needs.
Prepare clear and concise technical proposals that highlight the most effective fire protection solutions for each client, emphasizing the advantages of Yama’s fire pump technology.
* Technical Solution Development and Support (A to Z):
Serve as the primary technical resource across all departments (sales, engineering, marketing, purchasing) for all fire protection systems, with a specialization in fire pumps.
Work closely with the sales team and engineering department to develop customized fire protection system solutions that meet client specifications and budget constraints, focusing on fire pump selection, integration, and overall project feasibility.
Utilize technical software and AutoCAD skills to create system layouts, pump specifications, and other technical documents for sales presentations, internal communication, and project execution.
Provide ongoing technical support throughout the sales cycle and project execution, ensuring clear communication and addressing fire pump-related concerns for all internal stakeholders.
* Compliance Management and Approvals:
Prepare and maintain compliance sheets ensuring all fire protection system solutions adhere to relevant codes and standards (NFPA) and consultants specs.
Coordinate with other departments (engineering, sales, marketing, procurement ) to obtain necessary technical approvals from customers and consultants.
* Knowledge Sharing and Resources:
Contribute to internal training programs and develop technical resources (e.g., application guides, FAQs) to empower all Yama departments with fire protection system expertise.
Stay abreast of the latest fire protection technologies, fire pump advancements, and industry trends to ensure Yama’s offerings remain at the forefront.
* Project Management (Optional):
Participate in project kick-off meetings (if applicable) to ensure a smooth handover of technical specifications and facilitate successful project execution by the engineering or implementation team.
*Industry Engagement (Optional):
Represent Yama Company at industry trade shows and events to showcase fire pump technology and solutions (if applicable).

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical #Engineering, Fire Protection #Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical or engineering role, preferably within the fire protection industry.
Strong understanding of fire protection systems, fire codes (NFPA standards), and fire pump technology (operation, selection, and integration).
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
